QA Analyst
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Automation Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in Playwright, JavaScript, Postman, API testing, Integration testing, and Regression testing. This role is responsible for designing and maintaining manual and automation frameworks, ensuring software quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, JavaScript, and Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications
Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, sanity, API, and end-to-end test cases
Validate integrations between multiple systems and services
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms
Analyze requirements, test results, report defects, and track issues using JIRA
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure software quality
Maintain automation frameworks, reusable test utilities, and test data
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Perform root cause analysis for defects and production issues
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production releases
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing strategies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
5+ years of software testing experience with at least 3 years in automation testing
Hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript, Postman and Visual Studio Code (VS Code)
Experience with manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, sanity, and end-to-end testing
Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and test management
Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend verification
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum
Experience working with Git and CI/CD environments

Preferred (Nice to Have)
Knowledgeable in Swagger, jMeter or Python
Experience testing Learning Management Systems (LMS), language learning platforms, or other e-learning applications
Experience testing integrations between multiple systems, third-party APIs, and enterprise applications
Experience with performance or load testing tools
Experience using AI tools to improve software testing, including test case generation, test automation, defect analysis, and test data creation
Strong AI prompting skills, with experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude) to enhance QA productivity and test automation
